Freight estimates

·       North Island Metro small package (under 5kg) – $5

·       North Island Metro large package (under 5-15kg) - $10

·       North Island Metro Extra large package (15kg+) – $15

·       North Island Rural add $10

·       South Island Metro small package (under 5kg) – $10

·       South Island Metro large package (under 5-15kg) - $20

·       South Island Metro Extra large package (15kg+) - $30

·       South Island Rural add $15

Free freight – from time to time we might offer ‘free freight’ offers. Keep an eye out for these and take advantage of them when they come up.

Other Important Information

We dispatch orders from our warehouse in Mangere, Auckland during business hours Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays). All orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. Please note that during busy periods, there may be delays due to higher order volumes.

Once shipped, you will be sent tracking details via email so you can keep updated as to when you receive the order. 

We generally use a variety of carriers, including but not limited to NZ Post, Dailyfreight, Mainfreight 2Home and Bascik. The carrier used for your order will depend on many factors including the destination, size, and weight of the items etc.

Deliveries are generally made during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Please note we cannot change the delivery address of an order once it has left our warehouse. 

Please note that due to carrier restrictions, items cannot be delivered to a PO Box.

If you’ve missed a delivery and have been left a ‘card to call’ please follow the instructions on NZ Post to organise re-delivery. If you miss a bulky delivery order, we will need to organise the re-delivery and this may come at an additional cost to you.

Due to safety concerns, courier drivers have the right to refuse delivery if the property has an aggressive dog or a ‘Beware of the dog’ sign. In this instance, you’ll be required to pickup your order from the nearest depot. 

Shipping Insurance

We offer reasonably priced shipping insurance. This is calculated off the value of your order and covers loss, or damage to items once they have left our warehouse. 

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to where the order can be tracked. Please note this may take 24 hours to update.

To track your package, follow the tracking link in your email or input your tracking number into the carrier’s website.

We cannot amend orders once they have been dispatched.

What is Authority to Leave (ATL)?

All orders are shipped automatically with Authority to Leave (ATL) given. This means the courier will not require a signature for delivery and will leave the parcel in a safe place if no one is home. Please note if you do not want this to happen, then please advise us in the order notes, and we will revert. Please note if you are not home when the order arrives, then it will be returned to the nearest depot. For it to be redelivered, you will be charged a minimum re-delivery fee of $30 for it to be redelivered. Please note we cannot advise exactly when the order will arrive or call beforehand to advise. Sorry.

What if my order is lost/stolen/damaged in transit? 

Please get in touch with us as quickly as possible via email info@questcamping.co.nz so we can open an investigation with the courier.

Quest Outdoors will not be held liable for any damage, or loss, due to theft or negligence if proof of delivery has been provided from our courier. If you are worried about this, we suggest you take out shipping insurance.
