Before we even began designing our products, we set out on a journey to truly understand how people use their gear and what they desire from it. We have been camping, cooking, and sharing stories around the fire with fellow campers for years. This hands-on research, born from our dedication to understanding our customers, became the cornerstone of our process, setting us apart from the rest. Our journey revealed insights that reshaped our thinking. The annual boys 'super petanque' game gives us a good opportunity to check out other campsites!
Gathering is the activity
We learned that an outdoor escape doesn’t have to involve a rugged 4×4 trek into the bush or a solo hike with ultralight gear into the mountains. It can be as simple as watching your kids sport, a picnic in the park, or a weekend getaway to your favourite campsite. We discovered that good food and a relaxing drink are often at the heart of these moments, but more importantly, we realised that the gathering itself is the activity. The kids having their own space for cards means the adults have more space for their own activities!

At Gladiator Sports our target market has long been defined as the "Outdoor inspired everyday person", and we think Quest products fit this idea perfectly. Our 'product testers' have been camping together since most of them were born, and celebrate winning the 'camp olympics' pretty hard!
